I haven’t been very present around here but I have been spending time at home and with the family – the batteries are slowly recharging. In the meantime, I want to wish you all a very merry Christmas and I can’t wait for the New Year to roll in and bring us the good stuff.
Here’s something I found while rummaging through old video tapes at home. Little me wishes you lots of love.
Little you is as amazing as now-you! Good wishes to you too for this season – from 71 yo me!

☺️☺️ how’s “winter” treating you in your sunny, faraway land?

Guess what? Right now I’m sitting in my winter dressing gown listening to light rain. However, we’ve had a bit of glorious blue, and temperatures about 24. What would you like a bit of?

Oh I’d love a bit of glorious blue and anything above 20 is fine by me!!! Has it ever snowed where you live?

Not unless you believe a legend that it snowed in Bodalla once upon a time on Christmas Day at the height of summer. I was in my twenties before I saw snow, and in my late sixties before I actually saw it falling and experienced it as a regular event.

Well do you believe this legend? I’m going to choose to do so – I love legends!
Isn’t it incredible though? It must’ve been quite the experience seeing snow, I presume in Poland?
I remember when we came back from Morocco in my late teen years. I was devastated we had to leave but the one thing I was looking forward to was finally experiencing a long, snowy winter. Unfortunately, those seem to no longer exist now, even in Bulgaria…
All the best for the New Year!!!

Sorry! I meant best for 2016 not “bust for 2016” :)

I thought “bust” sounded better! :D

Thank you!!! I merely wanted to share a little glimpse of little me but the result was a lot more overwhelming than I would’ve expected. Thanks again!

Oh Ali! Always so kind! I started late actually, most kids start age 5 if not younger. I was always amongst the older ones in my group. :)
I wish you all the best too lovely! xxx

Ha, do you see what I mean every time I complain about not having a piano here? :D

It’s obviously a gift (though I’m sure there was a lot of practice too). Do you get the opportunity to play at all – borrow someone’s piano or something?

After this competition I was told I had a gift for conveying emotions but had to work on my technique. So there you have it!
I don’t… The best I have found is go to the Renaissance Hotel near St Pancras and play their piano right by the Grand Staircase! Pretty epic, I must admit.

Please don’t tell me you were playing there on Tuesday – I was walking past and nearly went in…

Ha ha, no I was still in Bulgaria then. But I usually pay it a visit when on my way back from the Library. :)
